Welcome to QUT Law and Justice - a place which creates opportunities for you to enter a wide variety of fascinating careers including professions such as lawyer, federal police officer, intelligence officer, barrister and many more, particularly if you undertake a double degree.

We believe that QUT Law and Justice offers the best options for you to enter a career in the law or criminal justice related professions. Academic staff are experienced in their professions and continue to gain workplace experience through collaborations, special secondments, consultancy, research, committee and board memberships. Many are active researchers whose work is published nationally and internationally.

Emphasis is also placed on teaching methods to ensure students benefit from best practice teaching in legal and justice education.

We work carefully to design courses which contain a balance of theory, practice and generic skills. Courses are updated through consultation with potential employers and the integration of information technologies. Student feedback into the design and assessment of units is also considered.

Please explore this area to find out more about your course options. You are welcome to contact us to have any special questions answered.
