As a student within the QUT Faculty of Law, you will benefit from innovative teaching, methods and facilities and will be taught by a dedicated, highly experienced team of professionals.

There is a lot of support for students in their first year of University and within the Faculty of Law. We organise several items including a Mentoring system which includes introducing students to Law Peer Mentors in the Orientation Week.

We also provide important information on our website to help make the administration side of your study a bit easier including:

  • Courses which lists details of all the units that are available for study
  • Enrolments includes all you need to know about changing enrolments, tutorial allocations, timetables and who to contact if you have issues relating to your enrolment.
  • Assessment should help you to survive QUT - outlining your rights, how you can view your completed exam, rules on plagiarism and assignment cover sheets and extension requests
  • Careers will help with advice on how to progress your career, work experience, clerkship opportunities, bar admissions and mentoring programs.
  • Study Options will keep you informed about scholarships, prizes, internships, summer program and further opportunities to improve your education
  • Teaching & Learning covers information on surviving your first year, improving study skills & time management strategies.
  • Mooting explains what mooting is and the competitions QUT competes in each year.

The technology pages will help you with computing issues such as connecting to library databases, online teaching, FAQs and our computing labs.
