Assumed Knowledge requirements in the Faculty of Law |

QUT has replaced mandatory subject prerequisite requirements for all applicants other than international applicants with a new Assumed Knowledge scheme. The scheme makes it possible for committed and capable students to be flexible in their course choices before and after starting studies at QUT. QUT now specifies assumed knowledge, rather than subject pre-requisites for applications, as a guide to subject choices for students undertaking Year 12. Students without the assumed knowledge for a course should undertake the preparatory studies (or bridging courses) suggested by QUT before enrolling. Assumed knowledge indicates the minimum level of knowledge for students considering a particular course. All Law & Justice Courses require a sound knowledge of English. Candidates for double degrees often require other assumed knowledge eg mathematics
Assumed Knowledge assumes that these subjects have been taken over four semesters with an exit level of Sound Achievement and the Law and Justice Courses will be taught accordingly. For more information, please contact QUT Admissions on admissions@qut.com |
