Year 10 students

When choosing your subjects for Year 11 and 12 subjects at the end of Year 10, it's important to know which subjects will be of help to you in studying Law and Justice at QUT.

Year 12 students

Gain experience studying at QUT for the Bachelor of Justice before you leave Year 12 through QUT's START program

Parents can find out all about the START program through QUT News for Parents

Pre-requisites have been discontinued and replaced by Assumed Knowledge. It is assumed that you will have excellent skills in English or if you would like to improve, bridging courses can help you.

OPs explained lists the OP you may need to enter a course within the Faculty of Law and alternative entry methods. OP cut-offs may change from year to year, so the information provided will be based on the previous year. Those with an OP 1-5 are assured a place in the Bachelor of Justice with the QUT OP Guarantee.

QUT has alternate entry programs in place for Aboriginal and Torres-Strait Islanders, students from low-income backgrounds, rural and isolated areas and people with disabilities. These programs may help you enter your desired course even if your OP is not high enough. The Faculty has its own Equity Officer to provide support specific to your needs within the Faculty.

Our easy 4 step approach to entering the Faculty of Law tells you all you need to know about applying for entry.
