QUT Undergraduate scholarships

QUT also offers a range of undergraduate scholarships for commencing and continuing students. A number of these scholarships and bursaries are awarded to low-income students experiencing financial hardship.

Postgraduate Scholarships

QUT Faculty of Law - Master of Laws by Coursework Equity Scholarship

This scholarship supports either full-time or part-time study in the Master of Laws by Coursework (LLM). It was introduced by the Faculty of Law to offset the economic hardship that students in equity target groups may face given the introduction of fees for postgraduate studies. The scholarship represents payment of tuition fees for the LLM and lasts throughout the course of study, subject to the candidate's satisfactory progress. The scholarship's value will reflect how well the successful applicant satisfies the criteria; however, the scholarship will either exempt the candidate from either 100% of tuition fees or from 50% of the relevant tuition fees.

To be eligible to apply, applicants must be Australian citizens who meet normal entry requirements for the LLM by Coursework. You must fall within one of the equity target groups identified for this purpose - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disabilities, people from low socio-economic backgrounds, people from rural and isolated areas etc.

This scholarship is available to Australian domestic students only.
