A lawyer for over 20 years, Timothy Beale is also a former Federal Treasury economist. His career to date has traversed the disciplines of law and economics in both the private and public sectors.
Tim practises in the areas of revenue, commercial and government law. He has been involved in the development of many Commonwealth, State and Territory Bills such as the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and Cooperatives Act 1997 (Qld). From 1994 to 2001, he represented the Queensland Government at senior officer level on the Ministerial Council for Corporations. During this period, he was involved in the referral of the States' corporation powers to the Commonwealth Government.
Tim is a regular contributor to law publishers and legal seminars.
