LLB(Hons) (Qld), LLB Camb Peter Rowell was appointed Special Counsel with Blake Dawson
Waldron on 1 Jul 2000. Peter practices extensively in town planning law, providing
planning advice to clients on major infrastructure projects and in respect of
commercial, industrial and residential developments, as well as conducting town
planning appeals in the Planning and Environment Court. This has given him expertise
in the application of environmental controls and in consequent town planning and
legislative requirements, requiring him to liaise extensively with local and state
government departments and private consultants.
Peter has also maintained a very keen academic interest in the subject, being
the Lecturer in Charge of Advanced Planning Law.
