LL.B., B.Com. AASA (Uni of Melb) Mr John Stonier is a consultant to Davies Collison Cave in areas which include the development, negotiation and management of intellectual property and technology agreements. He is a past President of the Licensing Executives Society (LES) International and LES Australia and lectures in Licensing for the University of Melbourne. He is a member of the Australian Law Reform Commission's Advisory Committee on Genetics and IP Rights, and was a member of the Federal Government's Panel of Experts on the Biotechnology Center of Excellence and the IP & Competition Review. He was BHP's Director Development and Investments, and worked as financial executive with WR Grace & Co in New York and as a lawyer in Melbourne. He holds qualifications from Columbia University and the Universities of Melbourne and New England. Units currently taught: |
