LecturerLLB(Hons) LLM BBus(Accty) QUT Contact: (Gardens Point campus) Dale is a partner in the firm Clarke and Kann. He has a broad background in commercial and banking litigation and has specialised in insolvency for over 15 years. Dale is one of Australia's leading insolvency practitioners and is listed in Legal Who's Who among the nation's top 20 lawyers in this field. Dale has advised insolvency practitioners in relation to some of Australia's largest corporate collapses including Ansett Australia, Compass Airlines, Pyramid Building Society and Power Hotels. Dale has acted in a range of large litigation including Trade Practices actions under Section 45, 46 and 47 of the Trade Practices Act, the copyright infringement case against Channel Nine relating to the popular reality TV program “The Block”. In 1993 he was awarded the Spanos Melrose Scholarship which involved spending 12 months at an english legal firm. There he was involved in two of Britans largest collapses, BCCI and Leyland Daf.
