Natalie joined the Law School full-time as an Associate Lecturer in January 2002.

In 2000 - 2001 Natalie was seconded from her position as reference librarian in the QUT Law Library to the Law Faculty to work as Project Administrator on the Faculty's large teaching and learning grant on emdedding graduate attributes in law. Since 1998 she has taught as a casual academic in a range of undergraduate units in the Law School.

Prior to joining QUT Natalie worked as an Associate Lecturer and Law Reference Librarian at Griffith University, at the Supreme Court Library of Queensland and in private practice.

She was awarded her research Masters thesis in 2003 for a thesis entitled "Legal information literacy - law students experiences and the implications for legal education curriculum development". She is currently finishing a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education.

Natalie is the Law Faculty Teaching Interest Group (TIG) Co-ordinator. In 2002 she was awarded a Law Faculty Teaching Excellence Award and in 2004 received a Vice-Chancellor's Distinguished Teaching Award (beginning Category).

She regularly delivers legal research training courses to the legal profession and community groups such as high school legal studies students.

Natalie has published and delivered conference papers in the areas of legal research, information literacy, graduate attributes, legal education and animal law.
