Denise graduated in 1976 and then was a barrister in private practice, in general
civil
law. She took a career break for motherhood from August 1983 and during that
time
lectured part-time at the University of Queensland in Bankruptcy and Securities,
and
then tutored part-time at QUT in Land Law (now Property 1). In Jul 1992, she
joined
the Faculty of Law.
Her publications include Macdonald and McGill Drafting (1997) and she is currently
writing the Annotated Consumer Credit Code, with Lindy Willmott, expected for
publication in late 1998.
