The School of Justice located in X block Gardens Point Campus of QUT, comprises of both full-time and part-time academic staff and practitioners who teach into a variety of disciplines of Justice.

The school was established in 1991 with the support of the Queensland Police Service for the purpose of providing university-level training for their officers. Since then, it has expanded to cover a number of socially and industry-specific areas within the justice field. Likewise, the School of Justice staff have diverse backgrounds encompassing areas of academic research, school education, health, family law, social work, applied science, welfare, policing, forensics and intelligence.

The School of Justice staff have also been proactive in developing training courses for the profession, both here and in Singapore.
