Our researchers work within the Law and Justice Research Centre (LJRC), which was established in 2006 as the centre for our Faculty's research. The focus of the LJRC is to improve research outcomes by generating increased external funding, producing a greater number of publications in highly ranked journals, and fostering collaboration with QUT research institutes, Faculty staff, and external partners.

The Centre plays a role in developing an inclusive research culture, and provides opportunities for mentoring and support for all research students.

Our research advances and applies knowledge of justice and the law to improve economic, cultural and social conditions.

The Centre hosts eight programs, which are areas of research specialisation within the Faculty.
