As part of its commitment to community engagement, since 2004 the QUT Faculty of Law has hosted a series of free public lectures on topics of interest to the legal and justice professions and the general public.
Past presenters include: The Honourable Sandra Day O’Connor, former Justice of the US Supreme Court; Her Excellency Quentin Bryce, Governor of Queensland, The Hon Geoffrey Davies AO; The Hon Dean Wells MP; Commissioner Pru Goward; Chief Justice Michael Black AC; Malcolm Turnbull MP, The Hon Justice Michael Kirby AC CMG; as well as distinguished international and local academics and business people.
