The Faculty of Law can package graduate courses for the legal and justice professions, business, government and community. For example, a Graduate Certificate award course incorporating four subjects that are specifically developed to your needs (subject to staff availability) can be taught over a period of approximately a year.  Upon successful completion of the course, each student would receive a University award and be eligible to attend the University graduation.

Generally, subjects would be run in intensive mode across the year, a subject at a time. Each subject (including examination) would be completed prior to the commencement of the next subject block.

Examples of current corporate award programs are:

  • Graduate Certificate in Legal Studies (Criminal Prosecutions) for Queensland Police Service
  • Graduate Certificate in Legal Studies (Workplace Relations) for Queensland Rail
  • Bachelor of Justice Studies (International Policing) for the Singapore Police Force
  • Parliamentary Law Policy and Procedure unit for the Australian and New Zealand Association of Clerks at the Table.
