The Faculty of Law supports students with a disability and works closely with the Disabilty Advisors in the Equity Section to provide full and equal access to learning and research in the Faculty.

Students with a disability are encouraged to contact QUT's Disability Services at the earliest possible time, to meet staff, learn about the services available and structure a service plan to meet their specific needs. Disability Services provides a range of services to assist students with disabilities including:

  • Provision of lecture/tutorial notes
  • Negotiations with staff
  • Alternative formatting of course materials
  • Assessment support
  • Adaptive Technology Laboratories
  • Access
  • FM Assistive Listening Systems

More information on these and other services is available from QUT's Guide for Students with Disabilities - a guidebook for current and prospective students with a disability.

Students can find out more about the university's Disability Action Plan and Disability Services Policies from QUT's Disability Services.
