The 2003 Equity Awards

Group student award: Executive Committee of QUOTALS, the law students' association, Liz Ricossa, Nadia Bromley, Rowan Hodge, Rowena Kennedy and Kylie Waye - for financial and other assistance to low-income students in the Faculty of Law.

Reconciliation award: Faculty of Law - for equity initiatives, activities and support offered to Indigenous law students in co-operation with the Oodgeroo Unit

Support for low-income or disadvantaged students award (dual recipients): Faculty of Law - for summer equity bursaries for students.

The 2001 Equity Awards

Individual Manager/Supervisor

To the Dean, Professor Malcolm Cope, in recognition of his outstanding effort in support of QUT's equity initiatives, and his promotion of good practice and innovation in implementing equity within the University

Group Staff

To the Faculty of Law Women's Network in recognition of the network's outstanding effort in support of QUT's equity objectives, and in its promotion of good practice and innovation in implementing equity within the University.

Successful Project

To the Faculty of Law Mentoring Project Team (Fiona Martin, Wendy Cusack, members of the Central Queensland Law Association in Rockhampton) for the Faculty's mentoring scheme for external law students.

Certificates of Commendation were awarded to the Founders' Scholarship Mentoring Program and QUT Law Founders' Scholarship for support of QUT's equity initiatives.
